The TEYL France Certificate Course is a 40 hour, five day course in the French Alps for those who would like to teach English to children from 3 to 12 years. Teaching children English is enjoyable and rewarding but it is a specific skill which requires specialized training. As most TEFL courses focus mainly on how to teach English to adults, newly qualified EFL teachers, who would like to teach children do not have the necessary skills.
This intensive one-week course is designed to develop practical classroom skills. It aims to provide qualified EFL teachers with an opportunity to develop new ideas and explore current issues in English language teaching to young learners and also aims to provide non-qualified, experienced teachers with the skills, confidence and ability to teach English to children effectively. To sign up for this course, you must:
- be 18 years of age minimum
- have first language proficiency in English (this does not apply to the course for primary school french teachers)
- have a professional teaching qualification or teaching experience
There is an increasing demand for TEYL teachers worldwide so this course not only provides you with a practical and effective approach to teaching children English but also adds an invaluable bonus to your resumé, strengthens your teaching portfolio and expands your employment, financial and career options.
